Data transfer rate (DTR) is the rate at which a certain amount of data is transferred in a specific period of time. You’ll probably want to know what this speed is if you’re downloading something from the internet or transferring data from one source to another. - If you want to convert to hours and minutes, split the number and decimal: You will have 5 hours and 0.445 hours. To convert 0.445 hours to minutes, multiply by 60. 0.445 x 60 = 26.7.
