This is an article on how to block users on Facebook so they can’t find, view or contact your account. You can do this on the phone app and the desktop website. If you accidentally block someone, you can always unblock them.

Enter the name of the person you want to block, then select Block . The screen will display a confirmation page.

Advice
- You can also block users on Facebook by going to their profile, selecting the … icon near the top of the page, and selecting Block from the menu that appears.
- Before you block someone, you should consider unfollowing them so you don’t see their updates anymore.
Warning
- After unblocking someone, if you want to block them again, you have to wait 48 hours.
