Provide the best service to customers. Since passengers will rate their experience on the trip, you need to be friendly and provide good service. Lyft is known for providing a convenient and fun experience, so it’s a good idea to be proactive while driving. A cheerful attitude not only helps you get more “tips” but also improves your rating on the app – a criterion for drivers to receive more trips. [17] X Research Source
  • Advice

    • Sign up for both Uber and Lyft. You can make more money running both Uber and Lyft. While Lyft is said to be more driver-friendly, Uber is slightly more popular. [18] X Research Sources

    Warning

    • If you feel like an introvert and don’t like socializing, then you should find another job. It is difficult to get good reviews on the Lyft app if you are not friendly and open. [19] X Research Source
    • You need to be realistic about the earning potential of the profession. Lyft driver is a great side job that you can do on weekends or in your free time, but I’m afraid the income won’t be enough to live on if you work full time. [20] X Research Source
