Neat and Orderly

{“smallUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images_en/thumb/f/f3/Be-Productive-Step-1-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Be-Productive-Step-1- Version-3.jpg”,”bigUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images/thumb/f/f3/Be-Productive-Step-1-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Be- Productive-Step-1-Version-3.jpg”,”smallWidth”:460,”smallHeight”:345,”bigWidth”:728,”bigHeight”:546,”licensing”:”<div class=”mw-parser -output”></div>”}
Create a to-do list. Write down all the things you want to accomplish for the day or week, or create an ongoing list of tasks to achieve. The to-do list is a tool worth trying and will really work for you, provided, of course, that you use it correctly.

  • Write as short, concise, and logical as possible about what you need to do. For example, don’t just write “move house”. Instead, try writing in the form of “clean the living room,” “vacuum the carpet,” or “take out the trash” – it is better to be divided and clearly written than in generic phrases.
  • Don’t let yourself feel overwhelmed or distracted by your to-do list. If you spend too much time thinking about what to put on the list, it’s as if you didn’t use the list at all. Try to create a short to-do list, don’t let yourself hang around with it all day, unless you have to.

{“smallUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images_en/thumb/0/06/Be-Productive-Step-2-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Be-Productive-Step-2- Version-3.jpg”,”bigUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images/thumb/0/06/Be-Productive-Step-2-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Be- Productive-Step-2-Version-3.jpg”,”smallWidth”:460,”smallHeight”:345,”bigWidth”:728,”bigHeight”:546,”licensing”:”<div class=”mw-parser -output”></div>”}
Plan. See what on your list can be done, and decide in what order to do it. If possible, plan each day, including how long you will do each task, meal times, breaks, etc.

  • Be careful about scheduling each task, because you can’t be sure how much time is enough to complete one task or another. Don’t take this too seriously, and don’t let it ruin your entire plan. If something doesn’t go according to plan, do your best to adjust your schedule to get the job done.

Sort by priority. Consider what is most important and work on it first. By prioritizing each task, you’ll be able to get everything done on time. You may have a grand dream of “finding” and “bathing” your dog, but either of these needs to be second. Trying to do too many things at once is the shortest route to feeling overwhelmed and inefficient.

  • If there’s any task or task you’ve been working on for a long time that hasn’t been completed, give it a deadline or take a full day to do it – or see if it doesn’t work. Does that matter in doing other things?

Give a goal. Whether it’s cleaning, studying, or working, come up with a reasonable but challenging goal, like how much you’ll write, read, or do in a day. Don’t stop until you reach that goal. Try to have a positive view of your goals and don’t see them as obstacles. If you focus on something, you can get it done.

  • Consider rewarding or punishing yourself for your goals. Promise yourself something, or do something you want if you get this or that done. On the other hand, also remind yourself that if undesirable consequences occur, you can punish yourself in one way or another. This will really work if you can delegate the power of reward and punishment to someone who won’t compromise with you when you deserve to be punished.

Pay attention to your own effectiveness. Don’t get carried away thinking about how effective or ineffective you are at the moment, but after forcing yourself into a certain framework, look back to see how focused you are, how can you help yourself? Do you stick to the plan you have set out, or do you arrange your time in such a reasonable manner. Make a note of unexpected situations or things that might dominate or distract you during the execution of your plan. Once you’ve made a note of something, think about if there’s anything you can do to improve the situation.

  • Consider keeping a notebook or diary to keep track of what you did and didn’t do at the end of the day.

Keep your belongings organized. Nothing can make you waste more time than having to search for an important object or document without knowing where they are, and so can finding your email to double check your appointment time. Create a system to organize information, store belongings, and record information about appointments or due dates.

Concentrate

Stay away from distractions. We live in a world filled with things that keep us hooked and distracted from work. From TV shows, to blogs, to text messages to friends, family or pets. It’s easy when you spend a minute on one thing, then another minute on that, another minute on that, and then finally find yourself getting nothing done all day. Don’t let that happen! Stay focused on work by eliminating sources of distractions or possible distractions, as much as possible.

  • Say no to email and social media. Turn off all notifications that will interrupt your work. If necessary, take a few minutes each day to check your inbox and other important information, because if you keep your email and social media open while working, it will slow your progress.
  • Use browser extensions to limit time-consuming web pages. The internet is full of fascinating photos, animations, videos, and articles that can swallow up your day without you even realizing it (at the end of the day, of course). Install extensions like StayFocusd, Leechblock or Nanny, which will help you limit your time on distracting websites or only allow you to visit them at certain times of the day. Do whatever you can to avoid the temptation of watching the news, visiting your favorite blogs, or watching videos. [1] X Research Source
  • Turn off the phone. Don’t answer the phone, don’t check your messages. Do not leave your phone within reach. If someone calls you for something important, they’ll leave a message if you don’t pick up. If you’re worried about urgent things, check your phone every hour.
  • Tell family and friends that you don’t want them to interrupt your work. If pets can be a problem, don’t leave them in the room.
  • Use background noise to block out all those annoying noises and distractions. White noise, pink or brown noise or nature sounds like rain or running water can help you focus and improve your efficiency. You can use tools like Noisli to do this.
  • Turn off the TV or radio. Depending on you and what you do, some background noise may be acceptable – especially instrumental music – but any form of media around you tends to degrade performance. if you’re doing things that require intense concentration.

Solve problems one by one. Do you think multitasking will improve your performance? This is a common misunderstanding. The truth is that we can only handle one problem at a time, when we try to do many things at once, we just go back and forth between things, and each time, we lose a lot of money. a little time and still lose focus. To be truly productive at work, do one thing until it’s done and then move on to another. [2] X Research Source

Keep your home and workplace clean. Cleaning the house always takes time and effort, but if things are too messy, you will also be distracted and can make you less productive. Keep your home, office or desk neat, clean and tidy with a few small objects in sight.

Take care of yourself

Set an alarm and wake up as soon as the alarm goes off. Don’t hit the “snooze” button too many times and end up oversleeping. Oversleeping for even a few minutes will throw off your plans and make it difficult for you to get through the day.

Eat enough. You may not realize this at first, but if you don’t get enough nutrients to nourish your body, you will find yourself easily distracted, stressed, and distracted. You will make mistakes and have to redo something. So take the time to enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal.

  • Limit high-quality meals because if you are too full, you will become sluggish and sleepy. Digestion requires energy, so if you eat too much, your digestive system will take some of your energy to digest food.

Rest. Don’t squeeze yourself out or force yourself to stare at your computer screen until you’re just a zombie. Every 15 minutes, take about 30 seconds to relax your muscles and eyes. Do some simple exercise every 2 or 3 hours, have a snack, and restore your resolve.

  • Advice

    • Give priority. If something is more important than others, do it first! It also helps to get the hard things done before the easy ones.
    • If you have a lot to do, take a day you don’t have a plan for and make it a productive day!
    • Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed by the amount of work that needs to be done. Take a short break to regain your composure and break big tasks into smaller chunks if necessary. Wake up early, eat a delicious breakfast and relax.
