Click the Download button next to the font. Each font comes with a corresponding cloud icon to the right of the font name. If you see a cloud icon with a down arrow next to a font, the font isn’t installed. Click the icon to download it.

Download new fonts on Mac

Download fonts to your computer. Many websites have many free fonts that you can download for your personal use. You can use your favorite search engine to find such sites and browse the font collection. When you find the font, click the Download button to save it to your computer. Some popular font download sites are https://www.dafont.com, https://www.1001freefonts.com, and https://www.myfonts.com.

Close InDesign. Before installing fonts, save your work in InDesign and close the application if you haven’t already done so.

Navigate to the folder containing the downloaded font. If default, the downloaded file will be saved to the Downloads folder. If the downloaded file is compressed (usually with a .zip extension), double-click it to extract it.
