When we use Internet Explorer, the browsing history will be recorded. This makes it easy for users to find the web pages they’ve visited or to auto-complete the address as you start typing. You can view your browsing history on Internet Explorer or through the File Explorer file management application. Searching for browsing history on Windows 10’s Microsoft Edge is similar.

Click the star-shaped button in the upper-right corner of the window. This will open the Favorites or Favorites sidebar. You can also press Ctrl + H to immediately open the History or History tab of the Favorites sidebar.

  • On Internet Explorer 7 and 8, the Favorites button is to the left of the Bookmarks bar.
  • If you use a Windows 8 tablet with Internet Explorer 11’s Modern interface, you’ll need to open Internet Explorer from the Desktop to view your browser history. Sort the results to your liking. By default, browser history will be sorted in chronological order. You can use the drop-down menu at the top of the sidebar to sort them by site name, most viewed pages, pages visited on the same day, or search your browsing history by entering search criteria. sword.

Create bookmarks from saved history. You can add any browsing history to your bookmarks list by right-clicking a link in the history and selecting “Add To favorites” or “Add to favorites”. A dialog box will appear and you can name and choose where to store the bookmark.

Find the browsing history you need. Your history will be sorted by time into three ranges: Last hour (last hour), Last week (last week), and Older (older).

Delete a data by clicking or tapping the “X” next to it. You can delete individual links or the entire time range.

Select the date range for which you want to see the history. The History folder has four subfolders: 3 Weeks Ago (3 weeks ago), 2 Weeks Ago (2 weeks ago), Last Week (last week), and Today (today). Histories longer than 3 weeks will be in the “3 Weeks Ago” folder.
