The queen size loft bed is amazing in quality and not to hard to put together.. did it with the help of a 10 year old lol I’m only give 3 stars on shipping because it came in broken.. but Elgin saved the day and sent a replacement peice.. I would 200 % buy again . Great experience all around .. excellent customer service..

Although the wood quality is good, and the bed looks sturdy, unfortunately the craftsmanship was not as good. It looks as if the loft bed pieces had been cut and put together in a rush. Plus, the delivery was delayed and the assembly instructions were very poor and rudimentary. In regards to craftsmanship quality, for example, the rail with the picket safety is noticeably slanted. Half of the bed slats were not of the same length, so my husband had to cut or heavily sand them, so they could actually fit. Also, although my husband and I tried to secure the ladder at the best angle possible, the ladder steps are not flat but slanted (towards the inside), so my feet hurt when stepping on them. We are keeping it because there’s no way we can unassemble it at this point, but I’m unhappy with the purchase.

was complaining even before bed arrived, bed was actually shipped early. looks like rail was dropped in shipment or assembly and safety knocked at that angle. 400 ladders all same, no problem. eg
