Where to Find Sea Ganoderma
If you are looking to farm Sea Ganoderma you’ll have to leave the shores of the mainland. As it stands, the only place to find these Ganoderma is on the islands of Inazuma. The largest cluster of them is found on Kannazuka around Tatarasuna and the Kujou Encampment. You can also find a healthy number of them around Seirai Island.
There are 51 Sea Ganoderma between these more ideal farming areas. If you really stretch yourself and get every single node on the map, you can walk away with 155 per refresh. How quickly you accrue the resource ultimately depends on how much time you’re willing to spend getting the harder to reach nodes.
Remember, these water bound mushrooms will respawn around every two to three real-world days. Because of this, I recommend hitting both areas areas. This will maximize your farm, reducing the amount of time spent waiting for them to respawn
There are a few more nodes around both the southern and northern islands as well as you can see below. In the end, every island in Inazuma has some Sea Ganoderma. If you only need a few, chances are you don’t have to go too far.

You can purchase five Sea Ganoderma from Obata in Ritou, Inazuma for 1,000 Mora each. His stock refreshes every three days.
Haven’t unlocked Inazuma yet? You’ll need to be at least Adventure Rank 30 or higher and have completed Chapter 2, Act 1: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia. This is the quest to gain access to the region.
Sea Ganoderma Uses
At the time of writing this, Sea Ganoderma is only used for character ascensions. Specifically, two character ascension: Kazuha and Yae Miko.
It takes 168 of these to reach Ascension 6 for a single character, so I recommend you start farming early. Even if you don’t have either of those characters right now, there’s always a chance you could pick them up later down the road. Plus we don’t know if future characters will need this material! The good news is the material is plentiful enough that you can feasibly have nearly enough Ganoderma after one complete farming session. Talk about a relief.
