The Anti-Raiden Shogun Training is part of the Archon quest, “The Servant’s Path,” in Genshin Impact. The Anti-Raiden Shogun Training challenge is located in Inazuma in between Konda Village and Chinju Forest, and the quest is given by Yae Miko. Players will see a small pillar in a grassy field which is used to activate the challenge. Once the training starts, players will be confined to a small arena.
Inazuma is an area that can be reached when players are Adventure Rank 30 and they complete “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.” In Genshin Impact’s Inazuma, players will face the Raiden Shogun twice in boss battles. The Anti-Raiden Shogun Training is meant to prepare players for the real fight, but completing the training can be difficult, especially for players attempting the final challenge. In the regular challenge, players can get hit 10 times, but the final challenge only allows players to be hit three times before failing.
Players will need to complete the final challenge for the Anti-Raiden Shogun Training in order to move on to the next part of the quest. There are a few Electro attacks players will need to dodge for one minute and 35 seconds in the final challenge. Having two Anemo characters in the player’s party will increase movement speed allowing them to dodge more easily. Once players have the party they want, they can begin the challenge by approaching the pillar.
Completing the Anti-Raiden Shogun Training in Genshin Impact
There are three main Genshin Impact Electro attacks for players to watch out for as the timer runs down. The first attack players need to dodge is a circular Electro blast that deals damage in a small area around to the pillar. Players can completely avoid this attack throughout the training session by staying at the edge of the arena. As players run along the edge, they will have two other attacks to avoid, and these require a bit more work.
The second attack will shoot lightning in a small area where the player is standing when the attack is initiated. Players should be constantly moving to dodge attacks, and they should use dash whenever the area of effect indicator appears to avoid the lightning strikes. The last main attack is an Electro slash that is shot in sets of two or three from the pillar. Players can use dash for this attack as well to quickly move out of the way. When the timer reaches between 15 and 10 seconds, players will need to counter one final attack.
The final attack at the end of Genshin Impact’s Anti-Raiden Shogun Training fills the arena with Electro orbs that will explode shortly after appearing. Players will have around six seconds to quickly destroy one of the orbs, then stand in its place to avoid being hit by the other ones when they go off. Getting hit by this final attack will cause players to fail the training even if they avoided the other attacks. After players destroy an orb and dodge the last attack, the challenge will be complete, and they can return to Yae Miko to continue the Archon quest in Genshin Impact.
