What you need to know (please read before ordering)
This is a brand new Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) replacement for your existing module. After processing your order we will ship the module to the shipping address you provided.
The order will be processed during our regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 – 5:00 EST). If the order is submitted after 4:30 PM EST it will be processed and shipped next business day.
The Throttle Position Sensors (TPS) in the original design are purely mechanical and are notorious to fail due to continuous friction between swipes and the pot board. With that in mind we designed our ETB use the contactless version of the TPS, practically eliminating the problem.
Important: To install the included harness you will need to remove the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the Transmission Control Module (TCM), and that requires a special tool (part number 9995722, not supplied by us). Once both are removed the entire ECM socket with have to be taken apart and the following connections made:
ETB Connector Pin Location Wire Colour ECM Pin Location
1 Blue-Red A:36
2 Green-Orange A:19
3 White A:59
4 Green A:35
5 Brown A:20
6 Green-Black A:1
Important: The throttle will require calibration after installation. This can be done using VIDA or AutoLogic scan tool. No software reload is required.
This module comes with our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Please see here for more information.
