Well … what can I say about this anime, it goes hand in hand with the summer season, boys and girls want to be in shape and this anime is undoubtedly an aid to learn to exercise and with a fanservice for all tastes.
The female characters took my attention, Hibiki represents me with her voracious appetite and then i regret my gluttonous behavior, just like her. I also loved her design, brunette with that cute little fang coming out every time we got a close up on her face is so cute.
Akemi is the beautiful girl who is from a wealthy family and has a strange side, in this case she has a fetish for the muscles (I thought it was for muscular men, but apparently only the muscles)
And the male character that stands out was Machio, who is the coach of the girls and who seems a nice guy and very quiet, but when he became serious, he revealed his strong body, I think I could not stop laughing, especially for Hibiki’s dialogue while we are seeing how the image of her ideal man was destroyed.
The part were Machio explains the routines had me dead with laughter, Hibiki every time she spoke made me laugh with her dialogues, added to the fanservice granted by the beautiful Akemi.
As for anime in general I have nothing to complain about, first of all this anime was done by Doga Kobo, studio that always gives us cute girls doing fun things and in this case the fanservice was the best, I liked how Mashio explained the benefits of the routines and we watched Akemi modeling her elegant and beautiful body.
OP and ED have a really catchy beat, the rest of the soundtrack was quite similar to what Doga Kobo usually has and is nice to hear.
The post-credit section was my favorite, reviewing the routines that were seen in the episode and then showing the correct way to do them motivates you to do them.
Now it only remains to know the rest of the girls who will join the exercise routines in the gym, although indirectly we already met two, it only remains to know them better in future episodes, although Hibiki and her friend are already my favorites (Hibiki’s friend remind a lot to Umiko from New Game!).

I can see the femnazis getting their boxers in a twist about this because it’s about an overweight girl getting fit.
The SJW nation would rather people die prematurely from fat related disease than someone hurt their feelings and tell them to shape up.
It sorted of reminded of Grand Blue with the ridiculous bodies but I liked the way they took the piss out of the gym rats, unfortunately the the losers who complain about it cannot see that.

I refuse to go to that site but know her, that is exactly my point. She watches load of anime and list anything she could take offence at. A modern day Mary Whitehouse who was an old woman who would watch porn all the time just to complain about it.
I remember another femnazi on the BBC site reviewing Girls Und Panzers, you might think they would have loved girls building, maintaining and operating tanks but no, she just mentioned that the skirts were too short! Even though it’s realistic.

This. The problem is that americans always put themselfs in the center of everything. They are not the target audience for anime yet they act as if they are and take everything seriously and personally. Additional they believe they have some kind of higher moral authority and are on the mission to fix the world. I guess that happens when you have a big fat country. Their hypocrisy and arrogance is overwhelming.
As for anime, I like it. Everything that triggers sjws gets +1 point from me.

well, I didn’t expect the animation and character to be very good. and because of watching this I became masturbating and watching p*rn
looking forward to this anime. because in the future I will masturbate again while looking at the female character exercising.
and the story isn’t bad either, the story is very simple.
and also the main character is very exotic. and I don’t like it if the main character is white because it’s boring especially for anime like this.
it seems that mangaka really understands sports, and makes the main character of the woman very exotic looking.

only thing that bothered me was that they basically took that fine looking girl and made her feel fat.
A more chubby girl would be mroe fitting imo. Or someone with an athletic goal in mind regardless of shape.
Pretty funny though and made me want to hit the gym rightt after I finished the episode.

Nice! Interesting characters, decent comedy and quality ecchi. Looks very promising.
I didn’t expect it to go into more technical part, but it worked surprisingly well.
Kinda reminds me of Anitore, just better at every single thing.
And yeah, now I have motivation for todays training. It should air every 2-3 days lol

This would have been my favorite show of this season if there wasn’t Vinland saga.
Doga kabo nailed it again. I loved the characters. And character designs looked cute. More characters will be introduced. It actually made me wanna exercise but I didn’t . But I should though :v . This is going to be one of my favorite show of this year.

God, I loved this. I remember reading the manga last year and liking it, but the anime made me enjoy it even more. Might reread it again to refresh my memory. The show is quite educative (even if the manga got some tips a bit wrong) but it definitively makes me want to go to the gym again.
Also no idea Doga Kobo was animating this, they are one of my favorite studios so it’s extra points to me.

WTF THE OP IS CATCHY AF. Onegai muscle~
I don’t go to the gym, but I do exercise, and seeing other people (characters) stay active is always encouraging for me!
I dunno, people were like, “It’s gonna be really ecchi and trashy”, like in a way that made me think that the lifting and exercising part was going to be more like a gimmick, but so far it actually feels pretty genuine while also doing its own thing. I like that.
Also, this anime is in the same universe as Kengan Ashura apparently.

It is funny. I will learn a lot about how to exercise. I want to see myself in the mirror at the end of this anime, hahaha 😂. Definitely, it’s going to my list this season.
Souryuin, reminds me of Jabami Jumeko from “Kakegurui”, but with less “attributes”, hahaha. One is obsessed with betting, and the other has an obsession with muscles, LOL 😂.
Ps: This anime reminds me a little of Grand Blue. The opening and ending, are catchy xD.

Oh my goodness, Machio’s muscles were a terrifying sight to behold XD How does he hide all of that under his tracksuit??
But anyways, a pretty promising start. Hibiki is really cute and super relatable, and it was nice to see a character with the same body type as me (is that a good thing for this show? Not sure XD) Can’t wait to see more!
PS, this show made me feel a bit guilty about the two chocolate chip cookies I had right before watching it…haha!

Hibiki is a girl who wants to lose weight because she realizes she’s getting a muffin top in her midsection and her friend/workout buddy Akemi is a popular rich girl who wants to be a bodybuilder and flex her muscles. And their trainer, Naruzo Machio, helps both girls get into shape. But Hibiki cannot stop her eating habits. They were doing bench pressing, to work on the upper body, such as your chest and your arms. And squats, which works on the lower body, such as your quads, hamstrings, and glutes.

Maybe Hibiki is being the etchi minded girl. Machio is basically giving instructions for workouts for beginners. Like bench press, that works your chest muscles, and squats, which works your leg muscles. Because nobody wants to be a twig all super skinny.

honestly I just want to talk about how hilarious this fucking show is, its rare an anime actually makes me laugh out loud, but I was fucking cackling watching the op and ed. the fucking trainer guy machio? I cant breathe when hes on… oh god… not only that this is motivating is hell to work out.
also with people getting trigger over it being “fat shaming” i do get it… i guess as a girl weight is a sensitive topic but you just need to take it with a grain of salt. if weight and body image shit upsets you, dont watch. simple. also i wouldnt call this show that fat-shamy at all, its more about being healthy. promoting healthiness and exercise isnt fat shaming. but tbh some of the shit that girl said to her friend was mean? but like jesus yalll need to chill.
anyway, overall instant watch of the season… its just so funny, the charcters are great and wonderful animation. i just love this show!!!!

I like how they only bother to draw the character actually looking overweight (despite her BMI being smack dab normal – if you wanna come at me with “cultural difference!” go ahead but 160cm 55kg isn’t gonna look like that) because heaven forbid a potential action-figure selling waifu protagonist ever look the slightest bit overweight unless it’s “THICC”
People are waving off anybody irritated by these things as “weh cry more about fat-shaming” but this show isn’t even shaming a fat character – it’s shaming a character at a completely healthy weight because likable girls in anime can never be anything but 100% attractive and I’m not even sure anime artists know how to draw anything else for more than two seconds or with a comedic male voice attached anymore.
I really want to like this show because I think it’s a unique premise with some education value and potential inspiration for me own desire to work out more, and I can relate to the main character’s struggles with it, but I don’t know how long I’ll last with the obvious disconnects if the show keeps trying to tell us how unhealthy she is while being too cowardly to actually show it. I really did not expect this to bother me THIS MUCH but after years of female characters who are clearly a healthy weight or even questionably underweight talking about how fat they are when half of the body fat is in their massive jugs, I think this broke a last straw I didn’t realize I had.
(Also, counting calories on a healthy intake of protein before a workout??? Really? We’re gonna lump that in with the junk food? We’re really gonna do that????)

Their personal trainer showed to be a muscle guy too, so hilarious!
Both MCs are pretty cute, but Souryuuin expression are jus so good and hot! I am loving her!

Nice way for someone who is exactly like that, cu’z you simply have no idea what a natural bodybuilder looks like as compered to the stereotypical bodybuilder. here some comparison:
natural bodybuilder, no steroids used
Typical stereotype bodybuilder.Juiced up with steroids.
and here, I’m sure someone like you who easily gets punked with the typical stereotype of bodybuilder that you’re used to, since you probably never step foot in a gym. Better read some articles before you open your trap like this one

There’s estimates out there on the internet such as “95% of professional athletes such as NFL players using steroids” (http://www.fitflex.com/steroids-professional-athletes.html) and estimates that as many as 0.5% (one in 200) people in the general population take steroids (http://healthresearchfunding.org/20-incredible-statistics-steroid-use-professional-sports/). But then who knows how credible or accurate these estimates are.
You forgot to mention that genetics also play a big part in determining how big your muscles can physically get and how long you can sustain them. I’m not denying the fact that their are people who are massive that use steroids but their are those that don’t use steroids, it’s just that those who don’t, they have better genetics compared to the image of the ‘natural bodybuilder’

Woooooo, you’re really were stupid, so, you’re telling me that all these bodybuilders that you see in here , were a result of genetic?
If so then I guess these Female Bodybuilders have the genetics, and never once used steroids .
So. I guess Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman never uses Steroids as well, cu’z they won’t having that kind of body if not for steroids.
Oh btw you talked about being ripped, there a difference between being ripped to being huge.
Cu’z this is being ripped.
And this is being huge.
Remember:
Ripped
huge
Ripped
Ridiculously Huge
