Domino’s announces new sausage pizza as the perfect Valentine’s Day treat

As the third lockdown continues, Valentine’s Day is set to be pretty different this year. But who says you can’t still mark the occasion with something special at home? Fortunately, Domino’s is here to make lockdown dates more special with its newest pizza flavour – perfect for spicing things up on February 14.

The pizza gods have launched a new ‘Absolute Banger’ pizza with not one, but four succulent sausage toppings.

It comes packed with Domino’s much-loved pepperoni slices, fiery chorizo and sizzling sausage – and if all that isn’t enough – there’s also new and improved smoky hotdog slices.

Whether you’ve got a hot date night at home planned, or just fancy treating yourself this Sunday, the Absolute Banger pizza is the ultimate treat for an evening in.

The meaty addition is available now to order online, through the Domino’s app or via your nearest store. A large Absolute Banger Pizza will cost you £19.99, but prices may vary from store to store.

It comes as Domino’s predicts it will sell more than 430,000 pizzas on Valentine’s Day – that’s around 1,385 pizzas a minute at peak.

Josh Engleman, Senior Sausage Slicer at Domino’s, said: “Our customers love a Mighty Meaty, so we decided to add to the fun by serving up some serious sausage with our latest launch. The Absolute Banger combines four delicious sausages, each offering something different. With the perfect combination of spices and smokiness, we can’t wait for customers to try the Absolute Banger.

“We’re expecting a busy one this weekend as Cupid gets to work, but whether your plans are in your household bubble or simply virtual, you can always rely on Domino’s to deliver your favourite piping hot pizza – we got this!”
