Cameron Boyce’s Dad Shares Last Photo Taken of the Actor Before His Death

Cameron Boyce’s dad shared the last photo taken of the Disney star hours before his death.

On Wednesday (July 11), Victor Boyce took to Instagram to pay tribute to the actor with a heartwrenching post, in which he describes the “agony” he’s feeling in the wake of his son’s tragic passing.

“My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives. I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling but no one is immune to tragedy,” he wrote, alongside a sweet image of Cameron, before thanking everyone for their support. “The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation.”

Cameron’s family also confirmed his death was, in fact, due to a seizure triggered by his epilepsy.

“Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy,” a spokesperson told ABC News. “We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart-wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral – which in and of itself, is agonizing.”

The beloved actor, known for his roles in Disney Channel’s Jessie and Descendants, died Saturday night (July 6) after suffering from a seizure in his sleep. His roommate found the 20-year-old unresponsive and called the paramedics, however, they were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following his death, many of Cameron’s famous friends have paid him tribute, including Debby Ryan, Grown Ups co-star Adam Sander and Dove Cameron, who posted an emotional six-part video on Instagram.
