Just in time for the start of football season (woo hoo!) and fall season premieres, AT&T has added 50 live channels to its U-verse mobile app, expanding the selection of channels its customers can enjoy at home and on the go.
The new additions include ABC Family, Cartoon Network, ESPN, Food Network, HBO, HGTV, and QVC HD — all of which are available to watch inside and outside the home. For a full list of channels arriving in the app, see below.
With the new additions, the app now includes more than 180 live channels. More than 100 of those channels are available for out-of-home viewing.
Meanwhile, AT&T is also bringing the U-verse app to more devices, including the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, HDX, and Fire Phone ($199.00 at Amazon)(Opens in a new window). If you have one of these devices, you can download the U-verse app from the Amazon Appstore. With the new additions, the app is now available on 30 different gadgets.
The app also now includes more than 400 hours of EPIX on demand movies like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Skyfall and Star Trek Into Darkness.
