Now, about the the speakers themselves. Firstly, the volume control has a major flaw. You cannot control volume from your connected device and have to use the buttons on the speakers. That’s really inconvenient if you keep your speakers away from your device. My former Boat Stone 1000 was miles ahead when it came to this. Secondly, the speakers seem to lose connection when you change apps/songs on your device. It’s not a recurring error but it does test your patience when it happens. The sound too seems pretty low for such great quality speakers and I almost everytime have to keep the volume at 90 when I’m watching something on Netflix.
Except for these errors, the Bluetooth connectivity is quick and the battery backup is great as well. My speakers are pretty much on the entire day and I only have to charge it once in two days.
For a 7k price tag, I don’t think these pros can outweigh the cons and I would consider this as a bad buy. But if you think you can overlook these flaws then certainly these speakers are for you.
I have the best BT speakers at the top end.And this one compares favorably with the best. For just 1/3 rd the price.I am an audiophile and very demanding person .
Actually I want to give 4.5 The buttons are tight and not comfortable and some qurickiness while pressing the max volume.
That is why I have reduced .5 Anker products across segments are very sturdy and reliable.
I have used this product just for a week for now..No charging issue s as some one reported .The speakers output crystal clear natural sound.
The bass is adequate and does not sound artificial. If you are looking for a bt spirit, just buy this.I heard the classics ,both piano and violin and orchestra.
The sound in a quiet room I heard was like in an auditorium ,filling and immersive.
If you are having a mobile phone with good bt,you will find little difference between wired and wireless.Of course for longer listening I prefer connecting the auxillory..By the way the bt is really having a good range .
Much more than 33 ft .
I tried in different places.Though I have not tried with wall obstructions.
Do not waste your money on expensive ones
There is a separate bass boost up button. Like I said, I don’t like bass in my songs but there are some that sound great in the bass boost mode. Just press the button and that’s it!
The bluetooth connection is smooth as expected. There is also a feature to connect through NFC if you wish which is cool.
I would recommend these sweet speakers to anyone. They are absolutely worth throwing your 5k rupees at!
PS: There are only two cons. They did not provide any Aux cable. I mean we are spending so much money and you can’t provide an Aux cable. What?? Also the battery life sucks. If you are a heavy user, you’ll need to recharge it every day. Well, good sound sometimes comes at a cost.
Much better than JBL GO
Yes, the sound signature lacks a little in mids and highs, but it is much better than the shrill voice of the jbl speakers.
BATTERY LIFE is awesome and lasts forever without charging.
BUILD QUALITY is also good. It is sturdy and the buttons are quite tactile.
RANGE is also better than most speakers of this price range and performs with low latency(sound lag)
Overall, this speaker is the bang for the buck.
Hope this helps y’all make your mind
However, if you want a better than this one, and you are ready to pay 3 times more, you can consider ‘Denon envaya 250’ or ‘Dockin-D Fine+’
Update:
Vocals are not that great. If you do listen to audibles/audiobooks, then some cheaper product like zoook chrome will perform better than this.
But Anker boost is still much better for the music.

The Sound Core Boost definitely does put more effort into the bass than it does the upper ranges, which can make it sound a bit muffled – adding a few dB of EQ at the top can correct this though (maybe cutting a bit at around 200Hz too). With these tweaks it’s surprising just how full a sound such a small box can make – sometimes when listening in bed at night I forget that I am not playing the music through my floor standers. Obviously at higher volumes it can’t really compete with a pair of full size speakers, but then again I wouldn’t try putting those in my suitcase when I went on holiday (certainly wouldn’t be taking much else if I did!).
I’ve listened to quite a variety of music on the Boost now, and it works well for most of it. There’s enough bass to give rock and dance music some energy, whilst offering enough detail and dynamic range for ambient and acoustic tracks to breathe. It’s never uncomfortable to listen to or sounds unnatural, which can’t be said for any other portable speaker(s) I’ve owned. 20W produces enough volume that you could conceivably use it to fill a room at a party, though at maximum volume it does sound a bit harsh (the bass boost feature comes in handy at these levels though).
It definitely can’t replace a proper hifi with well positioned stereo speakers for serious listening, but it would be a strange world if it could – for portability at a well below hifi price though, it ain’t half bad.
Anker Soundcore Boost vs. JBL Flip 4 vs. Sony XB-31
Anker Soundcore Boost:
None of these problems with the Soundcore Boost. The sound is rich and full with good deep bass and loads of volume and, so far, no dropouts. The bass boost is impressive giving a depth and strength of bass that has no right to be coming from such a small unit! It’s a bit bigger and heavier than the Soundcore but not by a great deal – it’s still very portable. It also has useful additional functions like the ability to charge other USB devices from its battery, NFC pairing and it being waterproof to IPX5. On the down side, its battery life is only quoted as 12 hours which is half that quoted for the Soundcore but I’m never likely to need even a full 12 hours so not an issue for me.
My conclusion? I’m glad I bought this to replace the Soundcore, I’m very pleased indeed with it and I recommend it.
