Top Tips

  • For the best results do not overcrowd the fryer basket so that the hot air circulates well and these crisp up. Do not stack them at all. You may need to cook these in few batches if in a smaller air fryer.
  • The amount you can fit in depends on the size of your air fryer basket or tray. I can get 5-6 in easily.
  • No extra oil spray is needed for this recipe. But if you prefer you can spray on a little bit of extra oil spray on the air fryer basket before adding them in.
  • For the best results, flip the corn dogs about two-thirds of the way through cooking. This helps them crisp up on all sides.
  • The hot dogs inside do heat up, so please let them cool down a little bit before you dig in.
  • Depending on the size of the basket, you might have to break the ends of the corn dog stick for them to fit.
