Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a brand-new evolution for Sneasel – here’s how to evolve the ‘mon into Sneasler or Weavile!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus didn’t introduce a ton of Pokemon into the game, but the Hisui region is home to a few new faces.

One such example is Sneasler, the evolution of Sneasel that we didn’t know we needed – and maybe we even didn’t need. After all, Weavile is an iconic Pokemon in its own right.

But just like Scyther can now evolve into Kleavor or Scizor, Sneasel also has a new evolution line to experience.

And who knows which Pokemon will be getting new forms next? After all, it seems that 158 new Pokemon are coming as Pokemon Legends DLC this year!

Not to mention that Mega Evolution looks to be returning in Arceus too!

How to Evolve Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler – Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In order to evolve Sneasel into the new Sneasler in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you’ll need a specific Pokemon variant.

• First, get your hands on a Hisuian Sneasel, a new Sneasel variant that appears in Coronet Highlands in Celestica Trail and Primeval Grotto.
• Next, battle or catch enough Sneasel that one of them drops a Razor Claw. Alternatively, you can purchase the item from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village for 1000 Merit Points.
• Then, use the Razor Claw on Hisuian Sneasel during the day to evolve it into Sneasler!

Remember, you’ll need to catch every Pokemon if you want to encounter and catch Arceus itself!

How to Evolve Sneasel into Weavile – Pokemon Legends: Arceus

With Weavile, the process is similar, but you’ll need a regular Sneasel variant.

• To find Sneasel (not its Hisuian form), you’ll need to head to the Obsidian Fieldlands.
• There, wait until a Space-Time Distortion forms, as this appears to be the only location where Sneasel resides.
• Again, get hold of a Razor Claw through catching Sneasel or buying from the Trading Post.
• Then, use the Razor Claw on Sneasel at night to evolve it into Weavile!
