Before pouring in that valuable VC into your Next Gen NBA 2K22 MyPlayer build, it is extremely important to ensure that you’re comfortable with each and every competitive detail you make.

As seen in previous titles in the virtual basketball franchise, maxing out a build takes hundreds of thousands of VC, as well as endless in-game hours to complete. For those who want to make sure they’re not missing out on any important hidden attribute thresholds before finalizing their MyPlayer build, here are the dribbling and shooting animation requirements to take note of in NBA 2K22 MyCareer on Next Gen.

ATTN: Dribble heads, there are some dribble styles and sig size-ups that are limited to 6’4″ and under. So if you want access to EVERYTHING, be 6’4″ or shorter and ball handle 85 or higher. Good luck!

The longer NBA 2K22 is out, the more the community will inevitably figure out just exactly which Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking and Defense/Rebounding Badges are the best to prioritize, as well as what levels are the most ideal to invest your points in to get the best value.

In the meantime, it’s best to make sure your build meets all the requirements for the more essential animations you personally would ever want on your MyPlayer.

Pro Dribble Moves

As described on Twitter by NBA 2K Gameplay Director Mike “Beluba” Wang, players will want to make sure their build has at least an 85 Ball Handle and a Height of 6’4″ and under. Meeting those two thresholds will also ensure that a build is able to equip all of the dribble moves in the game.

All Jump Shots

In order to unlock all of the jump shot animations, including access to all of the bases in the Jump Shot Creator, your MyPlayer must have a Height of 6’9″ and under.
