How To Prevent Emails From Going To Spam Folder On iPhone Or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to recover emails that were mistakenly moved to the Junk folder in the iOS Mail app. This trick will also prevent similar messages from being sent to Spam in the future.

Open the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad. This icon is blue with a white envelope inside. You can find the option on the home screen.

Click the arrow pointing to the left. It’s in the upper-left corner of the Mail section. This will open the Mailboxes menu.

Click Junk (Spam). It has an icon of a mailbox with an “X” inside.

Tap the message you want to recover. Icons will display at the bottom of the screen.

Click the folder icon. It’s the second icon from the left at the bottom of the screen. A list of folders will display.

Click Inbox . This will move the selected mail items to the Inbox. In the future, emails similar to this will be sent to the Inbox, not to the Junk folder.
