How to Make Slime

Slime is very popular with young children because simply playing with it is fun! Making your own slime at home is much easier and more economical. Here are four ways to make different types of slimes.

Mix borax powder with warm water. Measure out 1 tablespoon of fenugreek powder (15g) and 1 cup of warm water (120ml). Combine these two ingredients in a large bowl. Stir the mixture until the solder powder is completely dissolved.

Mix milk and water glue. Add 1/2 cup colloidal milk (60ml) and 1/2 cup water (60ml) to another bowl. Stir until the two ingredients are mixed together. The mixture will have a thin texture.

Add food coloring to the glue mixture. Choose any food coloring you like. Green is a popular color, but feel free to experiment with any color. Start with a few drops of food coloring and stir. If you want a lighter color, continue adding a few drops of food coloring.

Find a piece of styrofoam. The size of the sponge is fine, but the standard size is 25x150x150mm. Rub the sponge into your hair or carpet several times to create static electricity. ^{[3] X Research Sources}

Let the mixture cool. Before letting your child play with and eat slime, let it cool completely. Add a few drops of food coloring (if needed). Food coloring is optional but it will make the slime more interesting!

Let the mixture rest for 1 hour. This will give the mixture a standard consistency.

Use a spatula to stir the mixture vigorously. It will foam when you stir. The standard consistency is when the mixture pours out easily and becomes slimy to the touch.

Place the slime in an airtight container or bag. Slime will keep for a long time when stored airtight. You should not expose the slime to the sun or heat.

Advice

Do not put slime on the carpet as it will stick to the carpet.
Do not allow pets and small children to play with slimes.
Pour the borax mixture into the glue mixture slowly and stir with a spatula. When it thickens, use your hands to knead the mixture. The mixture will gradually become slime.
To make slime simple and effective, just add glue, washing powder, food coloring and mix well.
When you put the slime in the cup and press it down, it will make a funny sound.
If you don’t want to use borax, try cornstarch.
Make sure all ingredients are stirred.
You can add essential oils or scented soapy water to the slime to make it smell nice.
Stir in milk glue and food coloring first, then add borax powder and water to make it more effective.

When making slime with milk glue and laundry detergent, add shaving cream or foaming hand soap.
