If you need to reinstall Minecraft, you may be wondering why the game doesn’t appear in the Programs and Features list or the Applications folder. The reason is because Minecraft is installed using the Java command, so you cannot uninstall it using the normal method. When reinstalling Minecraft, you should quickly back up your saved games so you don’t lose game progress.
