How to Record Audio on iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to record your (or someone else’s) voice using the iPad’s built-in microphone. While the iPad can’t access the same Voice Memos app as on the iPhone, you can use other free apps to record your voice on your iPad.

Turn off the metronome. If you don’t want the metronome sound effect playing in the background of your recording, tap the metronome icon at the top of the screen to turn it off.
