Use a spoon to scoop out the avocado seeds. If the avocado flesh is relatively soft, you can use a large metal spoon to dig around the seed and scoop out the seeds.

Cut the avocado core into pieces. Use a sharp knife to slice the avocado halves. Use your fingers to gently separate each piece of butter from the rind.
