Apply mascara to the upper lashes
Make up other parts before applying mascara. If you’re going to be applying eye shadow, eyeliner, or other makeup to your eyes, do those steps before applying mascara. This way, you will avoid the mascara smudge because of trying to apply makeup around the eyes after applying the mascara.
- For other cosmetics that are not related to the eyes, such as foundation or blush, you can wear makeup at any time. However, most people apply makeup on their entire face first, and then their eyes.
