You might consider changing the blocking level instead of disabling Pop-Up Blocker completely. Click or tap the Settings button to open the Pop-up Blocker settings page. Use the drop-down menu at the bottom of the window to change the setting to “Low”. This will allow most pop-ups from legitimate websites, while also blocking suspicious pop-ups. You can also add pages to the accepted list so that they are always allowed pop-ups.

If you turn off Pop-up Blocker completely, you will not be protected against intrusive malware and advertising. We recommend that you add pages where you want to allow pop-ups and still have auto-popup blocking enabled.

When Pop-up Blocker is enabled and pop-ups have been blocked, you will get a small information bar located below the address bar. If you click on this bar, your browser will temporarily allow pop-ups, add the site to the whitelist, or adjust your blocking settings.
