Tabby cats, sometimes called striped cats, are not a separate breed of cat, so they have no distinctive personality or behavioral traits. Instead, any cat with a striped coat all over the body is considered a tabby. The veins can be large or thin, straight or wavy, and can be of different colors. All tabby cats have a distinctive M-shape on their foreheads, and also thin “pencil” lines on their faces.
