Steps

Prepare. You can do a Dutch braid when your hair is dry or wet, but it must be combed evenly. Remove all tangles and if you have a lot of hair, you should spray a little water to moisten the hair.

  • If you want frizzy/wavy hair when you remove the braid, do it while your hair is wet.
  • Comb your hair back so there’s no part. If you want to braid 2 or more braids, divide the hair on the top of your head into sections.
  • If you don’t want to braid your bangs, brush your hair to the side at this step.
Take the hair. Take some hair from the top of your head. If you want to braid the whole bangs, then take the hair right on the forehead. If not, take the hair just above the top of the head. Take a section of hair about 8-13cm wide and about 2.5cm thick.
Divide the hair you just took into 3 small sections. Dutch braids consist of 3 braids so this will be the base to start with.
Bring the right section of hair below the middle section.
Bring the left section of hair below the middle section.
Reassemble the operation, bringing the right section of hair, then the left section of hair, below the middle hair, along with taking more hair for each section.
Add a little more hair to the right section of hair and bring it under the middle section.
Take a little more hair on the left side of the hair and bring it under the middle section.
Add hair to the braid by grabbing a little bit of hair each time you bring it under the middle section.
Continue braiding your hair to the nape of your neck.
Use a hair tie to secure the braid and spray a little more glue.
