Wait for the BIOS to finish updating. This process can take anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour. While the BIOS is updating, you need to make sure that:

    • The computer is always connected to a power source if the battery is running low.
    • The computer is not impacted or forced to restart until the reboot is complete.
  • Advice

    • ASUS BIOS is usually updated automatically every time a new Windows update is installed.

    Warning

    • If you unplug the computer or try to force a reboot during the BIOS update, there is a chance that the BIOS will be damaged, the motherboard can no longer be used, and the computer will become “a pile of scrap”.
