The SIM card (mobile subscriber identity module) contains all the information about the iPhone. If you want to switch to another mobile device but keep your current information, you can remove the SIM card from your iPhone and insert it into another phone. This can be done with a special SIM removal tool or sometimes just a paper clip, but the process for each iPhone model will be slightly different.

Use a straightened paper clip or SIM removal tool. Insert one end of the paper clip into the hole right next to the SIM slot. Gently poke to remove the tray. Remove the SIM card from the tray. Don’t forget to put the tray back in place if you’re going to have your phone serviced.
