If you have not yet entered the IB Baccalaureate program, make sure you know what you are about to face. Talk to all tutors and teachers about the subject you want to sign up for. Surely this is really what you want. If there is a problem, the IB program coordinator should be contacted. In fact, they know it all.

Organize your thoughts properly

Always study in an organized manner. This should be emphasized. You’re pursuing 6 or 7 subjects (a plan that would be helpful) in your college course, so for good reason, keep each note separate, organized, and clearly written. As a result, you can refer to them when the exam arrives.

Get the most knowledge from classes. Let’s ask questions. Write clear, coherent notes. Clarify anything you don’t understand as soon as possible.

Always keep your commitment

Choose the subject that interests you the most. They are subjects that you plan to study hard over the course of 2 years. You will have to write an essay, read about it, conduct a lot of research and homework related to that subject. Make sure you don’t want to take the Business Management IB course if you wanted to take the Theater Arts course in the past. You’re more likely to commit to college with a 5 or 6 for Theater Arts than a 2 or 3 for Business Management.

Learn about the IB program goals for each subject. Because of the need to standardize the curriculum across different languages and cultures, the goal is not to test you on any other point. For example, in Biology, there’s not much to learn about the names of all the amino acids, you just have to learn how to draw the general structure (unless you like chemistry, in which case you don’t want to do it). decision-making authority).

Learn command terms for each subject. Not knowing some command terms will cost you points because you might have taken it the other way.

Do all homework. Homework makes up a high percentage of your final grade in the IB program, and you may find yourself overwhelmed by final exams if you don’t study hard. This applies even further if you are doing HL math or science (high level is higher level).

Start your extended essay as soon as possible. Do a good essay logically and early . The sooner you do the essay, the sooner the essay will be finished.

TOK stands for Theory of Knowledge. Practice well. If you study relatively diligently, understanding the main idea of TOK will be easy. If the teacher doesn’t guide you, teach yourself. There are many books on the market that are specifically designed for the IB program, so look for them.

Update your CAS activity. CAS includes Creativity, Action, Service. You need 50 hours in each area, over the course of 2 years of study. Try to convince the school to offer something to help you make the most of that time, such as a photography class, weekend activity, or tutoring younger children. If all of them are unsuccessful, school gardening can also count as a third type (service). Any help you do at school, please sign it. Submit these forms! You’ll want to finish it as quickly as possible, because at the end you’ll need the energy to focus on the final exam.

  • Note: Not all IB Baccalaureate programs still count hours, so be sure to check with your personal IB coordinator to make sure you’re doing the CAS activity correctly.

Try to calm down . If you lose your temper, you are failing, not just studying. You will study at university/college. Stop making yourself uncomfortable.

Remember, there’s more to life than just IB — a lack of person-to-person connections because the IB program can lead to social isolation and depression. Relax and enjoy some area of your social life, for your own mental health benefit. Look for a suitable IB forum on the Internet. Chat with many students and training staff of the IB program. Don’t fall behind the curriculum.

Let yourself rest for a while. Do everything you want to relax. Should own “own time”. Not all the time.

Avoid reduced vitality, enthusiasm during the expansion period. The IB International Baccalaureate Program is sometimes difficult, but work towards it appropriately. There’s no point in wasting years making a mess of your life, when you can get the most out of it, on the final day of the program, a beautiful and honorable degree.

No delay. IB students are known to be leaders in procrastination, procrastinating only once in a while but not so often that you don’t have to write your extended essay overnight.

Follow the IB International Baccalaureate with friends, or make friends early while attending IB. To pass the IB program, you need a minimum of 3 friends to join. You won’t be able to fully make it through to success on your own, as this also requires a committed guardian to help you succeed in your IB course. The second you join the IB program, forget your friends in the joint course when they don’t keep up, you are thinking of success. You need to go out with some group and study well with them, because you can all support each other. You also need to get all the help possible, ask every question that comes to mind.

Practice. These exams are definitely not easy, not horse riding to see flowers. The IB International Baccalaureate exam is difficult for most people (even geniuses like us) so prepare well! And when — you pass the test, smile and be grateful that you passed. Please help the freshmen.

Practice continuously. Pass the IB exam like many have succeeded because you can handle it! Textbook questions or questions you’re completing in class can be a lot easier than the real test.
  • Advice

    • The IB International Baccalaureate Program is the closest preparation for entering University. This all depends on the preparation for the post-secondary form of training. Enjoy the feeling of tension. Too much relaxation leads to slow, passive education, and the IB program is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a brighter future. Now you work hard, then relax.
    • Sleep and provide nutrients. For the IB program, you need at least 6 hours of sleep. Plan your studies and do your homework in advance. You should sleep by 11pm at the latest. You also need at least 3 meals a day to be able to absorb large amounts of information.

    Warning

    • Procrastination can lead to many of the bad results listed above, so learn. Procrastination won’t help: The only way to end is to start.
    • The IB program itself, as well as the lack of sleep because of it, can make you sick, just as the feeling of lethargy is caused by improper nutrition and/or lack of sleep.
    • If it’s too stressful, give up the IB program or change schools. It’s a great program, but if school activity causes a mental breakdown, it’s no longer worth it.

    Things you need

    • Planner or diary creation board.
    • A good teacher on TOK (Theory of Perception), or a good TOK book.
    • High quality textbooks, preferably written specifically for the IB Diploma.
    • Application for registration of CAS activities.
