Plug in the power to the modem. Most modems do not have an On/Off switch. To turn the device on/off, simply plug and unplug it.
- The modem after turning on will go through the boot process. If the light on the modem is almost all lit and stops blinking, the device has finished booting. Usually only one light will continue to blink.
- Normally, it will take about 30-60 seconds for the modem to be fully turned on.
