How to Host on Twitch

Stream Twitch on PC

Go to https://www.twitch.tv using a web browser. You can use any web browser on your Windows or Mac computer.

If you are not logged in, click “Log In” in the upper right corner and log into your Twitch account.
If you don’t have an account, you need to click “Sign Up” in the upper right corner to create a new one.

Click on your username in the upper-right corner of the Twitch website. A menu will drop down.

Click Channel . The channel with your chat room will appear on the right.

Enter /host with a certain channel name in the chat box. For example, if you want to broadcast the main Twitch channel, enter /host twitch in your chat box. Click the Chat tab. This is the fourth card below the profile picture at the top of the screen. The channel chat box will appear.

Enter /host along with the channel name in the chat box. For example, if you want to broadcast the main Twitch channel, you need to enter /host twitch in the chat box. People who are watching your channel will start watching the channel you are currently broadcasting. The chat room is still active on the channel, but all views of your channel will be counted towards the channel being broadcast.

To stop playing this channel, type /unhost in the chat box.
