If you’re planning a trip to a place where you know you don’t have access to the Internet, you’ll probably want to save some of your favorite videos for offline viewing. The latest version of the YouTube app supports offline viewing, but the feature is not currently available in many regions, including the US. If you can’t access the offline feature in the YouTube app, there are still a few ways you can get the videos in your device to watch offline.

Find the music video you want to keep. YouTube has a search function by clicking the search button in the right corner of the main screen of the application. Type the video name in the search box, and then select the appropriate search keyword that appears below.

Please download the video. After selecting the quality, press the “OK” button in the lower right corner of the quality selection pop-up window. Play that video offline. When you’re outside and don’t have an Internet connection, launch the YouTube app and open the left sidebar by swiping your finger from the left edge of your phone while on the app’s home screen.
