Increase ringer and alarm volume with volume buttons

Locate the volume buttons on the iPhone. These two buttons are located on the left side of the iPhone under the “silent” switch. The top button is for volume up, and the bottom button is for volume down.

Unlock iPhone screen. Enter the passcode or use the default security method to access the home screen.
Press the top volume button to increase the volume. When the volume up button is pressed, the volume will increase and the dash line will move further to the right. Keep pressing the button up to the desired volume level.

    Drag the slider to the right. This option is at the bottom of the music playback panel. The music volume will be increased.

    • If this still doesn’t increase the music volume loud enough, you can increase the volume with an equalizer. Do it in the following order:
      • Open Settings on iPhone.
      • Scroll down and tap Music .
      • Tap EQ in the “Playback” section.
      • Scroll down and select Late Night . Selecting this mode results in a much louder sound than other EQ settings.
