Move the cursor to the position you want to click. Hold down the contrp or ctrl key on your keyboard. This key is located next to the option key in the bottom row of the keyboard.

Click Trackpad (Touchpad). Under the Trackpad Gestures section, you need to check the box that says “Tap trackpad using two fingers for secondary click” to enable two fingers on the trackpad to right-click.

  • Note: Depending on the OS X version of the operating system, that box will say differently. In older versions, that box said Secondary Click and was in the Two Fingers section.

Move the cursor to the position you want to click. Place two fingers on the trackpad to right-click something. If Secondary Click is enabled, you will see a menu when you right-click.
