Exercise for the muscles in the forehead and eyes

Use your index finger to pull the muscle on the forehead. Just use your fingers to press on the forehead so that when moving the eyebrows can move that part of the face. This helps smooth out wrinkles on the forehead. [1] X Research Source

  • Place your index finger just above each eye.
  • Push your index finger down while trying to raise your eyebrows.
  • Repeat 10 times to tone the forehead muscles.
Push your hand to your forehead. This simple exercise uses your palms to create resistance while furrowing your brows. This practice helps to smooth out wrinkles on the forehead. [2] X Research Source

  • Place each palm on either side of the forehead, the bottom edge of the palm resting on the eyebrow. The palm of the right hand holds the skin underneath.
  • Raise your eyebrows like you’re surprised, then lower them like you’re angry.
  • Lift and lower 10 times, then raise and hold for 30 seconds. Lower and hold for 30 seconds, then repeat the lift and lower 10 more times.
Raise eyebrows. Using just your fingers and eyebrows, you can exercise the muscles in your forehead. With a little pressure you can create enough resistance for the exercise. [3] X Research Sources

  • Use two fingers to create a peace symbol, then press your nails over each eyebrow.
  • Gently push the skin down with your fingers, then push your eyebrows up and down.
  • Repeat the up and down movement of the eyebrows 10 times.
  • Practice 3 times, 10 reps each time, rest for a while and then practice 3 times, 10 reps each time.
Stretch your eyelids. The eyelids are a fairly easy muscle to exercise, without using much resistance. Using your fingers can help you stretch them, get rid of wrinkles, and have stronger eyelid muscles. [4] X Research Sources

  • Sit down and close your eyes.
  • Loosen your eyelids, use two index fingers to raise your eyebrows. While lifting you try to close your eyes to stretch the eyelids as much as possible.
  • Hold for 10 seconds, rest and repeat 10 times.

Squint. Continue eyelid training by squinting with your eyes closed, using a little resistance from your mouth. Because this exercise uses many different muscles, it can help stretch the entire face, not just the eyes. [5] X Research Sources

  • Pinch your lips down so that your facial muscles are tense, then pucker your lips to one side.
  • Squeeze one eye closed for one second, repeat 10 times, keeping lips to one side. Then practice for the other eye.
  • Practice 3 times, 10 reps for each eye each time, take a break for a while and then practice 3 times, 10 reps each time.
Stretch your face while keeping your eyes still. This helps build muscle around the eyelids to create a sharper look. Using the fingers creates little resistance to opening and closing the eyes. [6] X Research Sources

  • Use your thumb and index finger to draw a C shape around the eyes. Remember to place your index finger on your eyebrow and your thumb pressed against your cheek.
  • Close your eyes and slowly bring your eyelids together. Release tension without opening your eyes
  • Repeat the action of squinting and relaxing your eyelids 25 times.

Exercise for the mouth muscles

Practice by laughing . One of the simplest ways to stretch your mouth muscles is to practice smiling. With this exercise you will slowly move your mouth into a big smile, maintaining different mouth positions. The exercise gives you better control over your face and your ability to smile. [7] X Trusted Source PubMed Central Go to Source

  • Start smiling by stretching the corners of your mouth to the sides, with your lips still closed.
  • Then he turned his mouth upwards to reveal his upper teeth.
  • Smile as wide as you can so that your teeth are exposed.
  • After reaching this point, gradually relax your mouth muscles, bringing the smile back to its original position.
  • Pause at different stages while widening the smile, and hold that position for 10 seconds.
Apply pressure to smile. Similar to the previous exercise, this exercise uses different phases of the smile to work the facial muscles. Here you will use your fingers to create more resistance to move the muscles around your mouth more. [8] X Trusted Source PubMed Central Go to Source

  • Smile as wide as you can and use your fingers to hold your mouth in place by pressing down on the corners of your mouth.
  • The lips are slightly closed, then fully closed and use the fingers to resist the movement.
  • At each position hold for 10 seconds.
Face lifting exercises. This exercise works the muscles around the upper lip to prevent sagging and maintain a sharp lip contour. Done correctly will help you have a brighter smile, exposing more of the upper teeth. [9] X Trusted Source PubMed Central Go to Source

  • Gently open your mouth and widen your nostrils. Turn your nose up as high as possible, then slowly pull your upper lip up as high as you can, hold for 10 seconds.
  • Keep your mouth slightly open and place a finger under your eyes, on your cheekbones. Slowly curl your upper lip up, while pressing your fingers to your face. Hold for 10 seconds and then slowly return to the starting position.
Lip exercises. This is a simple exercise to increase blood circulation to the lips. It helps lips have a fresher and more natural color. [10] X Trusted Source PubMed Central Go to Source

  • Keep your teeth as far apart as possible without opening your lips.
  • Slowly push the lower jaw forward, push as far as you can, pull the lower lip upwards and hold for 5 seconds.
  • Slowly bring the jaw, lips and then the teeth back to the original position.
Pronunciation O-I. Shaping the mouth with some basic tones can help exercise the lips, as well as the muscles between the upper lip and the nose. This simple exercise just requires doing some amplifying facial movements while creating the sound. [12] X Research Source

  • Open your mouth and then close your lips so that your teeth are separated and not exposed.
  • Say “Oh” with an exaggerated mouth movement to bring your lips together.
  • Switch to an “I” sound and stretch your lips with an amplified motion to create the right “I” sound. You can replace the “I” sound with an “A” sound to change up the exercise a bit.
  • Perform 10 movements alternating between “O” and “I”, then repeat 3 times, 10 movements each time.
Thumb sucking. Use natural pressure from sucking to tighten lips. By simultaneously pulling your finger out, you will add resistance to the exercise. [13] X Research Source

  • Put your finger in your mouth and suck it hard.
  • While sucking you slowly withdraw your finger from your mouth.
  • Repeat 10 times.
Press your cheeks while smiling. This exercise strengthens the cheek muscles. Remember to tilt your head back while you do this exercise. [14] X Research Source

  • Use three middle fingers to press on the cheek.
  • While pressing you have to laugh really hard to fill your fingers.
Pull your cheeks up. This exercise helps smooth out laugh lines and small lines under the eyes. You have to use your hands to pull the muscles and skin on your face. [15] X Research Source

  • Place both palms pressed tightly against the cheeks.
  • Pull the corners of your mouth toward your temples until your upper teeth and gums are exposed.
  • Hold for 30 seconds, then release, repeat 3 times.
Squeeze lips. This exercise helps to tone the lip muscles. Again you have to use your hands to squeeze around your mouth and nose. [16] X Research Source

  • Place the palm of the hand on the face with the outer edge of the hand above the smile line, and the bottom edge of the hand above the jawline. Press your entire palm over your face.
  • Use your lip muscles (not your hands) to push your lips together and hold for 20 seconds. Then push your palm towards your nose and hold for 10 seconds.
  • Repeat the exercise 3 times.

Facial care

Laugh a lot. Along with specific exercises, regular laughter can maintain strong facial muscles, while also giving the face a more natural look compared to performing exercises. In addition, smiling a lot also creates a relaxed and confident appearance, helping you relieve stress every day. [17] X Research Source
Keep your face clean. Wipe your face regularly to remove dirt and keep skin clean. Also, use extra skin care products when washing your face, like a cleanser, moisturizer, and retinoid. Skin care product use should be kept simple, as using too much product can make the ingredients mutually exclusive. [18] X Research Source[19] X Research Source

Eat right for healthy skin. Part of the purpose of facial exercises is to tighten the skin for a healthy, youthful appearance. To have a more beautiful facial skin, you need to manage your diet well. Eat foods rich in vitamins A and C, as well as omega-3 fatty acids. This diet maintains smooth skin and well-developed facial muscles. • Some foods that are good for the face are fruits or vegetables that are dark and leafy, like carrots, apricots, spinach, tomatoes, blueberries, beans, peas, lentils, fatty fish like salmon and fish autumn, nuts, garlic and dark chocolate. In general, foods that are good for general health are also good for the face and skin.
  • Foods high in refined or processed carbohydrates and bad fats accelerate skin aging, so you should be careful when eating them.
  • Protect your face from the sun. The sun can damage your skin easily if you’re not careful and contribute to your face looking older. Avoid going out in the hot hours (10am to 2pm), cover your body with clothing and apply sunscreen. [22] X Research Sources[23] X Trusted Source Mayo Clinic Go to Source
  • Advice

    • Wash your hands before performing facial exercises. Touching your face can get oil or dust on your face and cause breakouts.
    • You can do the exercises in a sitting or standing position as long as you feel comfortable. [24] X Trusted Source PubMed Central Go to the source You should exercise in front of the mirror, at least initially, to see what you’re doing.
    • Do these exercises before going to bed every day. You don’t have to do all of the exercises above, just one or two will do.
