Sing a little bit. That’s right. This is the first step to starting over. You have to feel your own emotions. Repression will only make you “explode”. Moreover, when you acknowledge your feelings, you will be prompted to change the current situation. The only way for you to act is to become self-aware of the situation and realize that you hate it. Go on complaining. You are very disgruntled. Life is like that.

  • Share your feelings. Do you see dieters in need of companionship, or at least they need to share with the world what they’re going through? It is a way to gain support from others and raise their sense of responsibility. This case is similar. Even if you only find one person, you will still have a friend to lean on, someone who can steer you in the right direction every time you stumble. We all need such help.

Take a break. The point is that right now you need to rest. Sometimes life needs a pause. If conditions permit, grab a KitKat bar and take a break for a while. Begin to recharge, prepare for the great efforts to come to take control of your life.

  • If you are employed, you may need to take a leave of absence. Don’t take such a long leave that you get fired. You only need a day or two to think and focus. This time is entirely for you.

Have a stable income. Everyone has a clear chart of their needs. Most of us have a need for money. To have food, you need money in your pocket. You don’t need a lot of money, but to get high on the demand charts (and to start thinking about moving up) you need a steady income.

  • In short, start looking for work if you are unemployed. It usually takes you 40 hours a week to find a job. With the current economic situation, finding a job is not easy, but you will find it. You need to really focus on finding a job, not to miss any information or pass up any opportunity.

Complete your studies. This will be even more important if you haven’t finished high school. You need a high school diploma to get a job. All you need to do is do a Google search and call your local continuing education center. Most of these centers can help you plan your tuition and get you on the right track. Besides, there’s no harm in asking, right?

  • Go back to the classroom if you’ve been to college but haven’t graduated yet. This not only broadens your career options but also makes you feel better about yourself. You will feel like you have achieved something. After all, the depths of life are just a state of mind. Therefore, there are many people who seem to be at the bottom when viewed from the outside, but they themselves feel like they are on top of the world. Graduating from college can completely change your mindset.

Give up toxic habits. If you smoke, drink alcohol, or regularly engage in other addictive behaviors, stop. Otherwise, you will not be able to improve yourself. To really make progress, you must not hold onto old habits. You need to be responsible for yourself.

  • Imagine the kind of person you want to be. Does that type of person depend on someone or something else? When you’re trying to start your own new life, why would you accept a future that’s less than your ideal? You have a responsibility to yourself to be the best you can be. If you don’t give up bad habits, you won’t be able to build good ones.

Have active thinking. You need to reframe your thinking if you want to radically change your situation and start a whole new life. Think, act, dress like a whole new person, and of course make new friends. However , to do so, you need to start thinking positively and have determination. There’s no room for words like “I can’t”, “maybe”, and “probably” here. Have to start over with life? You will do so.

  • By training to think differently, you will most likely solve your situation completely. After all, what else are you but your own thoughts? While no one can give anyone detailed instructions on how to change their own mind, the later sections of this article will make that process easier. Positive thinking and confidence will make you fully capable of doing them.

Determine exactly who you want to be. How’s the appearance? How to dress? What will the relationships be like? Where will you live? Driving what? Take 15 minutes to close your eyes and imagine the life you want and how you feel in that life. Take a picture of this perfect life in your mind. You have to believe that the person you are imagining will definitely be you.

  • You need to define your destination so you can figure out where and how you need to start your journey. How do you want your ending to be? What goal do you want to accomplish? Please write them down. Everyone needs to strive for something, because no one is perfect. This is your chance to set goals for yourself. They will be what you aim for.

Body care

{“smallUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images_en/thumb/e/ee/Start-a-New-Life-when-You%27re-at-Rock-Bottom-Step-8-Version- 3.jpg/v4-728px-Start-a-New-Life-when-You%27re-at-Rock-Bottom-Step-8-Version-3.jpg”,”bigUrl”:”https://www. wikihow.com/images/thumb/e/ee/Start-a-New-Life-when-You%27re-at-Rock-Bottom-Step-8-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Start-a- New-Life-when-You%27re-at-Rock-Bottom-Step-8-Version-3.jpg”,”smallWidth”:460,”smallHeight”:345,”bigWidth”:728,”bigHeight”:546 ,”licensing”:”<div class=”mw-parser-output”></div>”}
Take a shower. This may sound funny, but to clear your mind, you need to clear your body. To have a fresh start, you also have to feel refreshed. Dust covered with people will only remind you of your current situation.

  • As mentioned above – “the bottom of life” is just a psychological state that can come and go easily. Taking a shower (and other seemingly pointless chores) becomes your trick to relax, relieve stress, and signal to your mind that it’s time to start over. Not only are you cleansing your body, but you are also preparing for a change.

Do exercise. Looks pretty weird right? What person at the bottom of life might have the will (or ability) to exercise? But the bottom line is that you can’t think of this problem in a one-sided way. In fact, think the opposite way a bit. Successful people new to exercise or will exercisers succeed? What should we focus on here, the chicken or the egg?

  • The first thing to deal with when you feel bored is your body. You lie in bed all day, when you open your eyes to see the sun, you just want to chase it away. Moreover, this is a vicious cycle that gets worse and worse. Your body slowly sags and pulls your mind. When you exercise, your mind will gradually follow your body’s instructions instead of the other way around. You’ll feel happier, look better, and get better yourself with exercise – which will help you cope with this crazy world.

Focus on healthy eating. You suddenly spend hours eating canned food, canned wine, canned ice cream, and at the same time gnawing on self-hatred. After that binge, you feel awful – and this repeats the whole process. The only thing you can do is lie on the couch and pray to get rid of the upcoming indigestion. Not very effective?

  • Food should energize you instead of making you tired and bored. After a healthy meal, your body will be more comfortable and you will also feel better. Do you see the rule here? To get out of the abyss, you need to feel good enough to improve the situation (not be good enough to do so). Eating healthy is one of the psychological tips to help you put your mind at ease.

Take care of your appearance. This does not mean that you have to pursue materialism or external vanity. However, a beautiful appearance will lift your mood. So, after exercising and showering, put on a nice outfit and go out. You deserve to do so.

  • Being conscious of your physical beauty can change the way you see things – and also change the way others treat you (it’s a disheartening truth). Once you have found your inner confidence, you can change your behavior (for the better). The world will probably be kinder to you, and from there you will be more tolerant of yourself.

Take care of your mind

Stop negative thinking. It’s you! Stop right now. You know how they are. Instead of thinking rationally and productively, you think, “I’m a total failure – no matter how hard I try, it’ll never work, so what’s the point of trying? ” Breaking news for you: those thoughts are not true . They are just feelings, and feelings can change.

  • When you catch yourself having a negative thought, force yourself to stop it, or add something else to turn the thought into a positive one. “I’m a total failure” will be changed to “I was just a total failure at one thing for today, tomorrow is a new day.” Don’t let yourself fall into a black and white mindset. Nothing is absolute. People have a saying “And this too will pass” is to talk about the above case.

Rediscover old hobbies and discover new ones. When immersed in slumbers and long-running movies, it’s easy to forget who you were before. To get out of that rut, you have to do a few things you probably don’t want to do – one of them is go back to your old life (before you fell into the depths of life). Force yourself to play an instrument again if you’ve ever played music. Let’s cook if you’ve ever been passionate about cooking. They may not be what you want to do, but rediscovering the things that once brought you joy can be the catalyst for the change you need.

  • Besides keeping old (and good) habits, you can build new ones. Being proactive (both in body and mind) will help you overcome the boredom and lack of vitality that surrounds you. Are there opportunities at your school or work? A friend is trying something that you find quite interesting? Is there a way to use your free time meaningfully? In other words, what could distract you?

Make a to-do list each day. Everyday, listless fatigue will always visit us. Dawn has come and the only reason to get out of bed is to go to the bathroom. It is in these situations that to-do lists become very useful. List out the little things you want to accomplish that day, no big deal – just enough to pull you out of bed and have a productive day.

  • This depends on the length of the process you’ve been through. It could be “send 5 resumes”, “run 3 kilometers”, or “start a conversation with a stranger”. Think about the things you want to achieve in the near future – what are the little things you can do every day to achieve those goals?

Helping others. Another trick to pulling you out of your own world and into someone else’s (which would probably be a less intimidating place) is to help people. Helping others not only makes them happy, but making them happy makes you happy too. You will get instant pleasure.

  • Look for small opportunities alongside the big ones. Walking an elderly neighbor’s dog, carrying a pregnant woman’s groceries, helping a family member – all these little things will gradually add up. You will feel this life has more purpose, make new friends and change this world for the better. One arrow hits three targets.

Surround yourself with positive influences. Most likely it was the people around you that made you face the difficult situation you are in right now. Sorry to tell you this, but the people around you may be holding you back from your growth potential. Are your current relationships making you tired and depressed? Even if your answer is “maybe,” it’s best to spend your energy on something else.

  • Sometimes you need to end toxic friendships. We’re all adults, and your friends may not be able to fit in with your new self. That’s perfectly normal. If a friend (or lover) isn’t making you happy, it may be time for them to leave.

Moving house. Obviously, this is easier said than done, but if your current situation is mainly caused by location factors (no job opportunities, no friends), consider moving – when that’s the case. financial conditions allow. Moving doesn’t have to be grandiose, but a change in your surroundings can bring you a lot of benefits. What better way to renew yourself than to renew your senses?

  • After moving house, you will soon forget everything about your previous life. Who were you in the past? If you have sad memories associated with your current residence, consider this option carefully. Is there a place you can move to and still maintain your network of supporters? Consider whether moving is worth it (although it’s also hard work). Deciding to move house is like being given a whole new world.

Achieve balance and daily routine

Be patient with yourself. Frankly, new life won’t come to you overnight. This process can take years. You will make small but steady progress that you may not realize. Imagine you are trying to lose 30 grams a day. You won’t be able to tell the difference for a long time – but one day your clothes will get too loose.

  • By the time you realize it, you’ve probably become too wonderful, happy, and content to remember that there was a time when you were at the bottom. Just wait for that moment, the moment you wake up and realize, “Hmm, I used to be like that, didn’t I?” That moment will come, always. Remember that the night is always darkest before dawn.

Focus in the transition period. This is another way of saying “Slow down at the speed bump.” Sometimes you just can’t stand it – you get the urge to go back to the bottom, even worse (is there a worse place than the abyss?). When you do, you have to focus, stay positive, and realize that these times are completely normal.

  • Right now, you are trying to do a very difficult job, which is to balance your old and new life. No one expects you to do it easily. In fact, everyone is more than happy to help you. Friends are like that. Remember that the transition period, however turbulent, is only temporary. Focus and you will overcome them.

Nurture your passion. You are slowly going up. Great, excellent, wonderfull. Now is the time to find something new that makes you happy, motivates yourself, and stops negative thoughts. What immediately pops into your head right now? Any passion is fine, as long as you are really passionate. This passion fills your time, spurs you to create, and gives you a purpose. Passions are wonderful.

  • You will be very satisfied when you are really good at something. The joy will be increased when you are really good at a field that you love. Nurturing a passion, no matter what it is, can have many benefits for your self-esteem. Your mentality is stronger, and you will no longer have to face the state of falling to the bottom of your life. That feeling has been erased.

Have a stable and comfortable schedule. Once you’ve got a ton of new and interesting ideas, what you need to do now is make them a part of your daily life. This may take a few weeks, but everything – work, friends, hobbies, free time – will soon be in order. There’s no reason why things shouldn’t be like that.

    • The good news is that your schedule will automatically take shape. As long as you keep your priorities right (take care of your body and mind as mentioned above), everything will be fine.
  • Advice

    • Realize that you are starting a new life, and you need to behave like a new person.
    • Remember your reasons well. When you are planning your new life, be clear about why you want to achieve a certain goal. This is very important because it will give you motivation.
    • Find a support group (online or in person). Surely that group will also have other people like you. You may be in the dark about this, but they know all too well.
    • You can do it! There’s a saying, “You can do anything if you put your mind to it,” and that’s true in this case.
    • Do what you do best – be yourself. Sometimes, you feel like you’ve fallen to the bottom of your life for personal reasons, as if someone or something made you feel that way. But you know, you can’t please everyone. Just because someone doesn’t like you right now doesn’t mean the people you meet tomorrow won’t love you for who you are. Just be true to yourself.
    • Surround yourself with positive people in positive energy environments.
