What is Messenger Kids?

Step 1: Download and log in to the Messenger Kids app

Download and install the Messenger Kids app. After opening the app, you log in your Facebook account there rather than creating a new Facebook account for your child.

Select Confirm > enter your child’s name > press Continue.

Step 2: Select relatives > Add

You can invite parents and relatives for your baby by clicking Invite after the account name > select the adult to chat with your child by clicking Add .

Step 3: Turn it on and get the contact code

You can tap Enable code for your baby to send to friends. Children can use this code to ask permission to be friends with them. Your baby’s code will show up afterwards > press Continue .

Step 4: Choose your baby’s color, avatar and friends

After successfully added, you can now choose colors for Messenger, this is not strange and like the “adult” Messneger, please take a nice picture for your baby to make an avatar. Besides, your baby can also add his friends through your permission using the feature below.

Step 5: Complete the login and use the application

After the basic setup steps, you can put your baby to use, call and text with the contacts you added. When your baby uses this application to text, you will receive messages through the Messenger application that you were using before, no need to install any additional applications.
