Draw the joints and the head.

Draw a circle at one end of the pea to make the wolf’s head.
Draw two interlocking circles to form the joints of the hind legs, one smaller than the other to show the wolf’s legs are partially obscured.

Finish off the neck and add the ears.

Draw two curved lines on the top of the head to make the ears. Unlike fox ears, wolves’ ears are smaller.
To make the neck (or nape) of the wolf, simply draw two slightly curved lines connecting the sides of the wolf’s head to the bean-shaped body of the wolf.

Draw the wolf’s muzzle and wolf’s feet.

To represent the hind legs, draw curved lines emanating from the hindquarters. The lines for the hind legs need to curve outward towards the tail.
To represent the forelegs, simply add 2 bold lowercase “l’s”. One of the wolf’s legs is obscured, so only a small portion of the other is visible.
Draw a small “U” on top as the wolf’s muzzle.

Add the eyes, tail and complete the hind legs.

To draw the eyes, simply add two small teardrop shapes above the wolf’s snout.
Finish off the hind legs by drawing another shape similar to the one you drew earlier, but this time with more feet at the bottom,
The wolf’s tail is hard to see because it is hidden behind the hind legs, so you just need to add a long curve at the end of the pea-shaped body.
Now you have the basic skeleton of the wolf.

Use an ink pen to paint over the sketch.

Remember interlocking shapes and obscured parts.
Remember to draw twists and turns to create the wolf’s fur.
The strokes may not look perfect and sharp, but should be neat when the pencil strokes are erased.

An oval needs to be bigger and longer slanting upwards. This is the neck and head of the wolf.
The second oval is drawn at the other end of the wolf’s body. This oval is longer, narrower, and drawn vertically for the tail.

Add wolf ears and legs.

This view shows only one ear of the wolf. You just need to draw a small rounded triangle with a sharp angle pointing in the opposite direction of the wolf’s muzzle.

Finish the wolf’s legs.

Add similar lines to define the width of the wolf’s legs. The wolf’s paw should look like it’s close to the ground.
Add another pair of legs behind the one you drew earlier. These two legs are only partially visible, so you just need to draw a small part of the leg that peeks out behind the drawn legs.
