Do you feel like you can’t trust your partner or that your partner doesn’t trust you? A lack of trust can lead to serious problems and even break up a relationship. One simple way to build trust is to adjust how you interact with your partner. Be more communicative and be open to each other. Avoid stalking your partner. Giving your partner space may not be easy. If you have a habit of scrutinizing the other person’s things or tend to screw up every time they go somewhere, try to cut back. Have a frank conversation with your partner. Making things clear to the other person will help you overcome trust issues. Both sides can improve communication and build trust if they can communicate frankly without feeling like they’re hiding something from each other. Avoid blaming each other. The act of blaming will only make things worse when trust has been shaken. If the other person feels distrustful of you or your trust in them has dropped, be careful and don’t blame them. Instead, you should open your heart and listen to what they have to say. Visit a love and family counselor. A lack of mutual trust can destroy a relationship quickly.
