Add a profile picture. You can choose a photo of yourself (or any photo) as your profile picture so that other users can easily recognize you:

  • Computer – Click Add Photo in the top left corner of the Facebook page, click Upload Photo , select a photo on your computer and click Open .
  • Mobile devices – Tap the square profile picture icon at the top of the page, tap Select Profile Picture , select the photo you want to use, and select Use .

Edit account information. If you haven’t added something while setting up your Facebook account (or you’d like to remove some previously added information), you can follow these steps on your profile:

  • Computer – Click About below the cover photo area, click a topic under the “About” heading on the left side of the page (such as Places You’ve Lived), scroll to Move the mouse pointer to an item and click Edit when you see it displayed, and edit the information.
