Click the X icon in the upper-right corner of the window to close. Almost every Windows application has an X icon in the upper right corner. You can easily disable these apps by clicking the X icon.

  • For open documents, you may be prompted to save or dismiss before the window closes.
  • If you’re using full screen mode and don’t see the X icon, press F11 first to return the window to its regular size.
