Find the ⎙ Print Screen key. Look at the right edge of the row of “Function” keys (which include keys like F5 , etc.) at the top of the keyboard, and you’ll see the ⎙ Print Screen key.

  • The “Print Screen” key usually has “Sys Req” written just below the key name.
  • The key name “Print Screen” is sometimes abbreviated to “prt scr”, “prnt scrn”, or “prt sc”.

Press the ⎙ Print Screen key. This will capture everything on the screen and save it to your computer’s cache.

Open the program where you want to use the screenshot you just took. You can use this image in Microsoft Paint, Word, PowerPoint, email, or social media posts.
