Mickey Mouse is a familiar classic cartoon character. With his large ears and expressive look, Mickey makes a great choice when you’re wondering what to draw. Mickey Mouse is pretty easy to draw, even if you don’t have much drawing experience. Besides a nose tip, two eyes and two ears, this mouse is basically just a series of overlapping ovals in a certain order. It’s easiest to draw Mickey looking straight ahead, but you can also draw the mouse looking sideways if you want to increase the complexity a bit. Once you’ve finished drawing the head, you can also add the body and the funny big shoes!

Draw 2 intersecting curves on the left side of the circle to form a sphere. Draw the first curve starting from the upper arc of the circle. Draw a shape like the number 3 in the center of the big circle to separate the face and back of the head. To separate the face from the black part of Mickey’s head, you would draw a 3, with the top stroke diagonally down and the bottom stroke pulled back as if leaning to the left. Draw a line connecting the bottom of the small circle and the middle of the large circle. Re-fill the first sketch with an ink pen or marker and erase any overlapping lines. You can erase overlapping strokes and guides before or after repainting with ink. Draw Mickey’s pants, starting with a curved loop extending to the sides. Mickey’s pants look like a rectangle with curved edges. You can draw in the center or to the side. Draw two wide hems below the pant legs on either side of the bib. You can draw two legs together or one trouser leg in the front so that the mouse looks like it is standing at a diagonal angle. Add 2 large buttons to the center of the bib by drawing 2 ovals. Two buttons are indispensable if you want the drawing to look exactly like Mickey’s torso. Draw these 2 buttons on the top of the pants. These two ovals will be longer than the average oval and placed vertically.

Draw part of the leg sticking out in the middle of the hem of Mickey’s pants. You can draw each leg sticking out in any direction you like. Draw Mickey’s legs as big as his arms for balance. Have Mickey wear a pair of shoes that are big, round, and have a donut opening around the ankle. Draw a flat oval in the center of the page for the nose. Start by drawing a tip at the tip of Mickey’s nose. Draw a slightly flattened oval in the center of the page, like a horizontally symmetrical egg.
